FAQ
Common Questions
What does a typical training session look like?
Every session starts with a warm-up tailored to your needs, followed by the main strength and movement work, and finishes with cooldown and mobility. Sessions typically run 45-60 minutes. Matt coaches you through every rep — this isn't a "here's your workout, good luck" situation.
Do I need to be in shape to start?
Absolutely not. Most people who walk through the door haven't trained in years — or ever. Matt meets you exactly where you are and builds from there. That's the whole point. You don't get in shape to start training; you start training to get in shape.
How often should I train?
For most people, two to three sessions per week is the sweet spot. Enough to make real progress, not so much that it takes over your life. Matt will recommend a frequency based on your goals, your schedule, and your recovery capacity.
What equipment do I need?
For in-person training, nothing — Matt provides everything. For online coaching, basic equipment like dumbbells or kettlebells and a pull-up bar will cover most programs. Matt designs around what you have access to.
Can I combine in-person and online training?
Yes, and many clients do. Some train with Matt in person once or twice a week and follow online programming for additional sessions. It's a flexible approach that gives you the best of both worlds.
